The Inspirations for Youth and Families Life Skills and Nutrition course brings you their newest recipe Guacamole! In this course our teens in rehab are taught the nutritional benefits of eating properly. Teens learn how to create easy and extremely hearty meals they can make themselves and for others. Our recipe ranges from breakfast, snacks and lunch meals teens find applicable to in their everyday life.
What you’ll need:
2 ripe avocados
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tbsp, of fresh lime or lemon juice
2 tbsp. to 1/4 cup of minced red onion or thinly sliced green onions
A dash of freshly grated black pepper
1/2 ripe tomato chopped
1. Cut avocado and remove the flesh
2. Mash avocado with fork
3. Add salt, lime juice, and rest of ingredients
4. Mix together ingredients
