To better inform everyone, we had a round table discussion with teens from Inspirations for Youth and Families about drug and street terms everyone may want to know. Today’s term is “Cheeking”. The definition below is based on collective information gathered from teens within our rehab and online research.
Cheeking [cheek- ing] – (v.) Pretending to swallow medication. The pill is usually hidden in the part of the mouth between the gum and the cheek.
Example: Patients under psychiatric are often try cheeking their medication so they are required to swallow water and open their mouths after swallowing the pill.
