Drug and street term: Purp
To better inform everyone, we had a round table discussion with teens from Inspirations for Youth and Families about drug and street terms everyone may want to know. The definition below is based on collective information gathered from teens within our rehab and online research.
Purp (pur-puh) (n.) – a recreational drink popular in the Southern United States whose main ingredients originally consisted of some type of prescription cough syrup containing codeine and promethazine, and either soda or fruit juice.It is also known as Lean.
Inspirations drug and alcohol treatment program
Inspirations for Youth and Families treats a variety of addictions from alcohol to illicit drug substances. Our goal is to help teens overcome their toxic habits and relationships in order to live a life of health and sobriety. As the world of drugs and alcohol evolves it is also our job to stay up to date on current treands within drug addiction and abuse.
