Drug and street term: Kokomo
To better inform everyone, we had a round table discussion with teens from Inspirations for Youth and Families about drug and street terms everyone may want to know. The definition below is based on collective information gathered from teens within our rehab and online research.
Kokomo (n.) (ko-ko-mo) – Another name for the illicit drug crack.
Example: We are going to get Kokomo and have fun tonight!
Inspirations Crack Drug Treatment
Cocaine is a powerful stimulant that is derived from the leaves of the coca plant. It is usually snorted, but it can also be mixed with water and injected. Crack is a form of cocaine. Crack users mix cocaine with other chemicals to form crack rocks, which are smoked.
During your teens stay, they will go through different levels of treatment, with each level giving them more privileges than the last, helping them stay motivated in order to reach their goal of recovery.
