Teen Heroin Addiction
Heroin addiction is not a matter to be taken lightly and should be treated immediately. This drug targets receptors in the brain that controls your pleasure and reward system called endorphins. After misusing the drug the brain is temporarily unable to produce its own endorphins which causes the withdrawal symptoms forcing addicts to use to feel better.
This is one of the easiest drugs to be addicted to and is every difficult to do cold turkey. Those who have tried often relaspe and some even die. To end heroin addiction your teen need around the clock medical attention to help during the detox process.
