LEVEL SYSTEM: Privileges must be earned.
In the level system participants are given an opportunity
to do this. Progress will be measured by participation in
clinical and recreational activities, written assignments,
step work and most importantly behavior. You can move down
a level and/or have privileges taken away.
New Beginnings - Level I
Privileges:
• Can participate in recreational activities (basketball,
exercise etc.)
Requirements for advancement to Level II
• Completion of Step One
• One week of treatment
• Completion of Substance Abuse Autobiography
• 100% participation in all clinical activities
• Completion of any additional therapeutic assignments
• No running away or trying to bring contraband on the
facility (Money, drugs, cigarettes)
• Respect staff and peers
Walk the Walk - Level II
Privileges:
• Special Sunday activity
• Weekly ten minute phone call
• All level one privileges
• One 2 Hour pass (If parents are available)
Requirements for advancement to Level III
• Completion of Step Two
• Two weeks of treatment
• Must be able to identify top three triggers and three
tools to deal with cravings
• Must be familiar with “Acceptance was the Answer”,
and “The Promises” Twelve step literature.
• 100% participation in all clinical activities
• Completion of any additional therapeutic assignments
• No running away or trying to bring contraband on the
facility (Money, drugs, cigarettes)
• Respect staff and peers
Acceptance Level - Level III
Privileges:
• Special Sunday Activity
• Weekly fifteen minute phone call
• One four hour pass weekly (if parents are available)
• Outside Shopping for client food.
Requirements for advancement to level four IV:
• Completion of Step Three
• Three weeks of treatment
• 100% participation in all clinical activities
• Completion of any additional therapeutic assignments
• No running away or trying to bring contraband on the
facility (Money, drugs, cigarettes)
• Respect staff and peers
Responsibility Level - Level
IV
Privileges:
• Special Sunday Activity
• Two weekly ten minute phone calls
• One Six hour or two three hour passes (if parents
available)
• Use of IPOD
Requirements for advancement to Level V
• Completion of Step Four
• One month in treatment
• 100% participation in all clinical activities
• Completion of any additional therapeutic assignments
• No running away or trying to bring contraband on the
facility (Money, drugs, cigarettes)
• Respect staff and peers
Vision Level - Level V
Privileges:
• Special Sunday Activity
• Two weekly ten minute phone calls
• Two six hour weekend passes (if parents available)
• Are permitted to use Ipod
• Friday meal outside
Requirements for completion:
• Completion of Step V and VI
• 60 days of treatment
• 100% participation in all clinical activities
• Completion of any additional therapeutic assignments
• No running away or trying to bring contraband on the
facility (Money, drugs, cigarettes)
• Respect staff and peers
• Successful completion of home contract.
Excellence Level - Level VI
Privileges:
• Special Sunday Activity
• Two weekly ten minute phone calls
• Two Eight Hour Weekend Passes
• Are Permitted to use IPOD
• Friday Outside Meal
Requirements for Successful Completion:
• Completion of Adolescent home contract
• 90 Days of Treatment
• 100% Participation in all activities
• Completion of any additional therapeutic assignments
• No running away or trying to bring contraband on the
facility (Money Drugs and Cigarrettes)
• Respect Staff and Peers.
