George Edward HarringtonPrimary Therapist

George Edward Harrington, III, LMHC, has a Master’s of Science (MA) degree from Radford University, specializing in Community Counseling. He also has his Bachelors of Arts (B.A.) from Emory and Henry College, where he majored in psychology and minored in business management. His experiences range from working as a Mental Health Counselor and Outpatient in-home therapist at Chrysalis Health Center to being a Student Advocate and Peer Educator at Barry University in Miami, Florida. George has also worked at the Dr. Maureen Duffy Family Enrichment Center as a graduate research assistant.

George is striving to complete his Ph.D. and is a candidate for his Doctorate in Counselor Education specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy. George grew up in Northern Virginia on the outskirts of Washington, D.C. He now resides in North Miami, Florida. Along with his outstanding dedication to pursuing the knowledge to help others, he enjoys adult softball, kayaking and mountain biking. This reinforces his ideal of “Exercise leads to a healthy body and a healthy mind”.
